Beau Hanigan was born and raised in the musical city of New Orleans, Louisiana. From a young age, he was exposed to the sounds of jazz and blues, which would later become a major influence in his music. After graduating from the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts, Beau decided to pursue a career in music. He started out as a session musician, playing for various artists and bands, but soon discovered his true passion for producing and composing music.
Beau’s love for lofi music and jazz lofi started to take shape after he discovered the genre while browsing online. He was immediately drawn to the laid-back, chill vibes that the music offered and started to experiment with incorporating these elements into his own compositions. Beau’s style can be described as a blend of traditional jazz, with a modern twist. His music is filled with smooth saxophone solos, mellow piano chords and just the right amount of hip hop beats.
In 2018, Beau released his first EP, “Lofi Nights,” which quickly gained popularity in the underground music scene. His tracks have been featured on numerous playlists, including “Chill Lofi Beats” and “Jazz Lofi Mixes.” In addition to producing his own music, Beau also collaborates with other artists, sharing his unique sound and love for jazz lofi with the world.
When he’s not in the studio, Beau can be found playing live shows at various jazz clubs and venues.
