Evie Woollacott was born in Bristol, England in 1989 and grew up surrounded by music. Her father was a jazz drummer and her mother was a classical pianist, so it was only natural that she would grow up with a love for both jazz and classical music.
In her early twenties, Evie discovered the world of lofi and became fascinated with the way that the genre combined elements of jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music to create a unique sound. She started producing lofi music in her spare time and quickly developed a distinctive style that combined her love for jazz and classical music with the relaxed, chilled-out vibe of lofi.
In 2016, Evie released her debut EP, “A Day in the Life,” which quickly gained a following among fans of lofi music. The EP was a collection of six tracks that showcased her ability to create lush, atmospheric soundscapes with delicate piano melodies and atmospheric beats.
Over the next few years, Evie continued to build her reputation as a producer of lofi music and jazz lofi. She released several more EPs, including “Afternoon Delight,” “Midnight Moods,” and “Sunday Brunch.” Each release was more ambitious and experimental than the last, showcasing Evie’s growing skill as a producer.
