Gabrijela Jurkovic, also known as GJ, was born in Zagreb, Croatia and raised in a family of musicians and artists. From a young age, she was exposed to different genres of music and developed a passion for jazz and lofi music. Gabrijela started producing music in her teenage years, experimenting with different sounds and techniques.
She attended music school and honed her skills as a producer, learning how to incorporate live instruments with electronic beats. After completing her studies, Gabrijela moved to Berlin, where she was influenced by the city’s vibrant music scene and diverse culture. It was here that she discovered the world of lofi hip hop and began to incorporate its elements into her own music.
